The Feminine Force Group (FFG) presents another rare gig as its post-Mother's Day offering by combining fiery bands and independent short films. Entitled, "Feminine Force: CineMa-Musika (Rocking Mamas & Short Films)", it brings together mother-led bands and young female directors in the forefront at Kolumn bar in Timog on May 20.

Agaw Agimat and Reggae Mistress will lead the pack of underground acts Velvet, Aunt Audrey, and Analog. The women filmmakers are Anna Isabelle Matutina ("Ika-Siyam na Palapag"), Ginalyn Dulla ("Lababo"), Grace Orbon ("Dead Letter"), and Sigrid Andrea Bernardo ("Babae"). The program starts at 9 pm, alternating the showing of short films (10-26 mins.) with the live band music, a first in the Pinoy bar scene.

9.26.05 - Agaw Agimat recently performed in two colleges last Sep. 23, Friday. At around 9pm, the band played as the guest band for NCBA Fairview's Battle of the Bands performing Sabi Nila, Wanliteltu and G!@#$a. At around 11pm, the band rocked an anti-administration, ADIOS GMA! organized concert at Trinity College performing Let's Go Underground!, Sabi Nila & G!@#$a.

8.28.05 - Agaw Agimat performed last night with 20+ bands to celebrate Freedom Bar's 9th Anniversary. Freedom 'til Dawn, started at 9pm and ended around 3am with a full packed Freedom Bar. Agaw Agimat played around 12 midnight performing for the first time the recently recorded 10th Year Anniversary version of Sabi Nila. 8.21.05 - Agaw Agimat re-enters the sound booths of Tracks Recording Studios after 10 years to record the 10th Year Anniversary version of the band's 1995 hit single "Sabi Nila". Produced by Angee Rozul, the 1995 album's Sound Engineer -- the 2005 version offers a more mature and tight sound for the previously released single from the band's 1st album, "R-15" under Alpha Records.

This new single will be exclusively available for download thru fiestamundo.com in the coming weeks. A major nationwide tour is currently being planned by the band's management and fiestamundo.com in connection with UNICEF's Campaign Against Child Pornography. The tie-up is currently being finalized together with a planned new video scheduled to be shot on the 1st week of September.
